Although you can get a CBD coffee item in your local grocery store, we encourage you to take matters into your own hands. You can make your own CBD-infused coffee beverage with a few items and your go-to CBD tinctures. This article will guide you on all you need for your homemade best CBD coffee

Advantages of CBD in Your Coffee

Although there’s little research on the interaction between CBD and Caffeine, many claims that it offers many health benefits. CBD and caffeine are natural substances with opposing effects on the same pathways in the ECS. So adding CBD to your coffee can result in some positive health benefits.

One of the advantages of using CBD in your coffee is that it can prevent caffeine crashes. Some common symptoms of caffeine withdrawal include nausea, headache, anxiety, and even tremors. However, CBD is said to have natural healing properties for these health conditions. Thus, this implies that CBD can help to balance the effects of caffeine in your body to promote wellness.

What You Will Need To Make Your CBD Coffee

If you’re using pre-infused coffee beans or a CBD oil tincture, you can skip a few steps in the CBD coffee-making process. However, if you don’t have any CBD extract, you will have to start from scratch by adding your CBD to a binding agent. The binding agent helps absorb the CBD so it can easily dissolve into your bloodstream.

Fat-based foods are excellent binding agents, so you can mix your pre-heated CBD with butter, coconut milk, or creams. You can also buy Cannabis milk or Cannabis creams at your local grocery store for comfort. The binding agent helps to enhance the CBD effects in your coffee.

Recipe: Preparation Of Your Own CBD Coffee

Step 1: Grind your choice of coffee beans into a medium-coarse texture. Then, you can measure 2 tbsp of the ground coffee in your infuser mug or  French press.

Step 2: Pour your preferred dose of CBD oil into the filter of the infuser mug or French press and mix well.

Step 3: Pour boiling water into the infuser or French press.

Step 4: Cover the lid of the infuser mug and wait for 3-5 minutes. Or, if you’re using the French press, press the coffee grounds down to the bottom and wait for 3-5 minutes.

Step 5: If you’re using CBD creams instead of CBD oil, you can add 1 or 2 teaspoons to your drink and enjoy.

How Much CBD Can You Add To Your Coffee?

Although combining CBD and caffeine may seem strange, studies show that some health benefits can result from this combo. Different brands recommend particular doses for their CBD coffee products. For instance, Naturecan Extract contains 500mg Green Coffee CBD per capsule and the brand recommends 2 capsules daily.

Meanwhile, if you’re using Kiara Naturals full-spectrum CBD oil, you can use 1ml of both the 200mg and 300 mg strengths per cup. For Endoca’s strong CBD oil blend, you can use 0.5ml per cup and 1 ml for the medium serving. You can also start with 1 to 2 teaspoons CBD coconut milk or creams per cup for your coffee drink.
